Thomas Wolfe Memorial
Thomas Wolfe was perhaps the most autobiographical of this nation's major novelists. Tour the 28-room Victorian boardinghouse once run by his mother and fictionalized as "Dixieland" in Look Homeward, Angel. The memorial and its original furnishings preserve the flavor of an early 20th-century house where Wolfe grew up and developed his characters. Fee.
