In July 2003 the State Board of Education approved the Technology Facilitator Performance Appraisal Instrument. The TFPAI was piloted by four school systems in 2002-2003 and validated by staff from East Carolina University. The State Board adopted Standards and Criteria for the Instructional Technology Facilitator in April 2001.
