Welcome to Region One, Northeastern North Carolina! I am very excited to be joining the DPI Instructional Technology team. I was born and raised along the river banks of Eastern North Carolina and I am looking forward to helping make a difference in the region that I have known all my life.
I began my education career as a teacher in Currituck County Schools and continued to work in education with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Elizabeth City State University. I have had the opportunity to work with faculty, staff, and students in K-12 schools and higher education in instructional technology and curriculum development.
I will be working with the Instructional Technology Section of DPI to provide technology support and instructional resources to public schools in NE North Carolina. I will be working collaboratively with Technology and Media Directors to support Future Ready Students for the 21st Century Learner.
