- eBistro
- eBistro is a professional development tool for educators in North Carolina that will help teachers feel more comfortable integrating technology into the curriculum.
- Plagiarism
- As a means of providing guidelines for teaching students how to avoid plagiarism and for handling a student's suspected claim of authorship or creation of an assignment, the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) has developed a plagiarism web site . This site is designed to support K-12 instruction in all curriculum areas and the North Carolina Graduation Project. The site provides resources for students, teachers, and parents.

- NCDPI has initiated a statewide professional development program to train teachers to effectively integrate computer technology into existing curriculum. Mary Lou Daily, Southwest Regional Consultant manages this program.
- IMPACT for Teachers
- IMPACT for Teachers is a web portal, developed by DPI staff, to assist teachers in the integration of technology into instruction.
- IMPACT for Administrators
- IMPACT for Administrators is a web site based for school administrators interested in implementing IMPACT: Guidelines for North Carolina Media and Technology Programs.
- Kaleidoscope
- Kaleidoscope, developed by Donna Sawyer, Teacher on Loan from Harnett County is a web portal that provides instructional technology resources for middle school students, educators,technology facilitators, media coordinators, parents, counselors, administrators, and staff developers.
- Collaboration Toolkit
- The Collaboration Toolkit, developed by Instructional Technology staff, is a document that provides step-by-step instructions for collaborative planning sessions.
- Grant Writing
- Grant Writing is a web page developed by Instructional Technology staff with resources for writing grants to fund instructional technology projects.

- EvaluTech, a partnership between the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and the Southern Regional Education Board in Atlanta, Georgia, is an online, keyword-searchable database of reviews of instructional materials for schools and library media specialists in North Carolina.
- InfoTech
- InfoTech: The Advisory List is a media center collection development tool that offers reviews of print, audiovisual, and technology supplemental resources. InfoTech reviews are published on the EvaluTech web site.
- NC WiseOwl
- NC WISE OWL is a Web site that has, as its centerpiece, several subscription databases. The WiseOwl project is provided by the Instructional Technology Section of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. For assistance with access to NC WiseOwl, please contact Dan Sparlin, Webmaster.

Evaluation Resources
The School Technology Needs Assessment (STNA) and Looking for Instructional Technology Integration (LoFTI) are two two technology program evaluation tools developed through a collaboration between SERVE and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and are supported by grants from the U.S. Department of Education (award R302A000011 and S318A030029) and through support from Microsoft Corporation's U.S. Partners in Learning program.
STNA is a school wide tool used to gather data for program planning and benchmarking current practice. STNA has been modified by the Friday Institute at North Carolina State University with permission from SERVE . LoFTi is a classroom observation tool used to gauge technology integration. STNA is currently available as a free web enabled survey. LoFTI is currently not supported as a web-based survey, but many schools have taken the observation form and created web-based version for use in their schools.
