You understand the importance of gathering information
from multiple sources and trying to understand differing points
of view and opinions. Remember that information
is property. The information that you gather is a product
of hard work and belongs to its creator. You need to cite sources
for the information that you collect to use in presentations. How
would you feel if the student in the seat behind you stole a fancy
multimedia presentation that you had labored over for weeks?
CAUTION: Get
permission from the owner of the information and make certain that
it is documented!

At one time this was an aggravating chore to perform.
But thanks to David Warlick, writing citations and permission letters
is now a "piece of cake."
