![]() After last week's stop at the Music Studio, you know that microprocessors are everywhere. They're in everything from the TV remote and calculators to cell phones and cars. What if they all (some 15 billion or more) suddenly disappeared? What impact would that have on society? For starters, you wouldn't be able to play video games anymore. Yikes! Well, you know microprocessors aren't going to disappear. In fact, they are becoming smaller and more powerful, and along with these improvements come very serious concerns and responsibilities. Let's stop for a refreshing break at the Lemonade Stand to reflect upon technology's impact on society and to take a serious look at copyright violation and plagiarism. |

Because it is so easy to copy and paste information using the Internet, it is easy to give in to the temptation to take information and use it as your own (plagiarism). Be wise. Don't plagiarize! And, as you learned this week, online research can create opportunities for serious copyright violation. You have great thoughts and ideas of your own. You don't need to copy the work of others. Do you conduct "Knowledge Rush Research" or do you suffer from the "Clever Cover Syndrome?"
