Capacity Building for Formative Evaluation

• All LEAs use the Evaluation Process to develop, implement and evaluate their educational technology plans (http://tps.dpi.state.nc.us/TechPlan0509/)
• The Evaluation process is being implemented this summer with a new round of IMPACT Grants. (http://www.ncwiseowl.org/impact/igrant2/)
• The Evaluation process was used to determine successful implementation with the 1-2-1 Grants awarded in 2005.
• All IMPACT Grant recipients are required to attended a week long IMPACT Academy based on the SERVE ATA Model.
• IMPACT I schools use the evaluation model.
