Pics4Learning.com: Thousands of copyright-free images categorized for educational use. You can even upload your own images to add to their collection! As always, give credit to the source when using images.

School Icons: Sample a great collection of free-to-use icons and graphics.

NorthStar Clip Art: "This whimsical collection of original North Star artwork by Peter Reynolds, inspired by the themes of his own book The North Star, is free to use on your own website, as long as it is for non-commercial or non-profit use (educational, institutional, family, etc.)."

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Photo Library (NOAA): The wonders of the planet in images–beautiful! From hurricane/tornado hunting to the ends of the earth and deep under the sea. Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco: Search over 82,000 images from the collections of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (the de Young Museum and the Legion of Honor). Truly non-commercial uses are encouraged. Non-commercial: anything that does not include resale and is usually educational in nature.

Free Stock Photos.com: Free photography for personal use, along with a list of official Government Photography Web sites. Must cite the domain name, www.freestockphotos.com, when using their photographs.

Find Sounds.com: Simply type in the name of the sound you’re looking for and click the SEARCH button. When you perform a search using FindSounds.com, you obtain links to audio files hosted by external Web sites. Check the copyright policy of the original source of the sound file before using it. Audio files containing obscenities are filtered out so this site is safe for school use.

Sea World/Busch Gardens Animal Sounds Library: To make a sound play in your presentation, press and hold your cursor over the LISTEN button to select "Download Link to Disk." Copy the file into your presentation. Read their copyright restrictions before using.
