What
is Cache?
Think of cache as a temporary holding space where your computer stores
information each time you visit a site. When you visit a site, your computer
will FIRST go to its cache to recall a page before trying to access the
site from the Internet. The result is that you may be viewing an older
version of a site from your cache instead of one that has been updated.
Clearing
the cache will ensure that you get the latest version
of the site. However, you may not want to clear the cache
too often, or pages will reload when it's not necessary.
Having the pages in your cache actually speeds up the
process of shifting between pages.
