In the process, you will learn to appreciate and respect the work of others, while coming up with new ideas of your own making. You see, the World Wide Web has completely changed the way we find and use information! In fact, we have an "overload of info" which is why you're going to spend some time in the fifth grade learning how to decide when the information is believable and when it has real value.
Unfortunately, looking for information on the World Wide Web is sometimes like spending your hard-earned allowance on a rare and expensive trading card, only to discover that it is a fake. It looks like the real thing, but upon closer inspection you are shocked to learn that it is only a cheap copy. Don't let this happen to you when "shopping" for information on the World Wide Web!
John Goddard, a famous explorer and adventurer, made an amazing list of 127 lifetime goals at the age of 15. His achievements as an adult are truly remarkable. Has he accomplished all 127 goals? Find out what this shy and scrawny boy did one stormy night when he should have been studying biology! But that was nothing compared to the time he was charged by hippos or buried in a blinding sandstorm or nearly eaten by crocodiles. Just wait until you read about the time he had to live on a diet of roasted termites, fried locusts, stewed pythons, and barbecued warthogs! Read John Goddard's list of goals! Unbelievable, isn't it?
