  • Firewall Technology that protects users from visiting inappropriate sites and also protects the network from unauthorized users.
  • Acceptable Use Policy A set of rules and guidelines set up to regulate Internet use and also to protect the computer user.
  • Worm A harmful computer file that goes through a computer and possibly through a network.
  • Online Safety Protection of computers, computer files, or a computer network.
  • Network Computers that are linked together by cables that allow them to "talk" to each other.
  • Online Resources The information available to a computer user on the Internet.
