  Week 5: The Internet
1 What's Up?
Thanks for stopping by the Music Studio for a jammin' Internet cyber session! With the Internet, classroom walls expand to allow you to interact with experts in many fields, collaborate with students all over the world, and travel with friends on virtual field trips to new and exotic places. This year, you will take an active role in using a variety of Internet resources to examine real-life situations. For example, you might have the opportunity to travel (virtually) with a team of explorers on an interactive adventure as they uncover the mysteries of the land and people in Latin America. (More on that later!)
2 Let the fun Begin!
Please note: Both sites are media-rich with animation, interaction, and video. Plan to set aside at least one full class period (at least 30-45 minutes) for each visit.

MUYOM - Make Up Your Own Mind
Now that you have a better understanding of Internet access, do you think that you and your classmates have enough quality access to the Internet? What do you believe is the biggest problem faced by your class when you try to use computers for Internet access? How would you solve the problem?
